FishBalls are dissolving pouches of fish powder. This fish hydrolysate powder is an excellent food and mineral source for the microbes you are brewing in your compost tea. A rich food source will make for a diverse brew.

The one drawback to any fish product is, well, the smell. Fish stinks! TeaLAB makes it easy for you to do a good job without the smell. Simply toss the FishBall in your tea brewer, let it dissolve and mix in your BubbleSnake's roiling brew. The dissolving pouch is made from essentially vinegar and completely safe for you and your microbes.


Small FishBalls 1-2 per 5 gallon brew

Large FishBalls 1-2 per 50 gallon brew


Each Small FishBall contains approximately 2 Tablespoons of Fish Hydrolysate Powder & each Large FishBall contains approximately 1 cup.
