Remote Soil Sample Kit and Soil Consultation
Wondering what your soil needs for a successful growing season but can't make it to the store to drop off a soil sample for testing? TeaLAB is now offering remote soil tests and consultations for both Potting/Nursery Soil and Native Soil!
After the lab receives your soil, your Native Soil Test results will return in 5 to 7 business days while Nursery/Potting Soil Tests will return in 7 to 10 business days.
When your soil test(s) are complete you will receive a consultation via phone or email from our owner, Luke Besmer.
- Luke Besmer is a Certified Crop Adviser through the Soil Science Society of America and has a Qualified Applicators License from the California Department of Agriculture. Luke also earned a degree in Biological Science and Botany from Humboldt State University and has hands-on experience as a professional grower in a 60+ acre nursery and as a bacteriologist in an environmental laboratory.
- With this expertise, Luke will assess your soil test results and recommend methods and materials to improve the overall quality of your soil and in turn, increase the productivity and health of your crops. He can also aid you in building and ordering a customized blend of soil amendments, made by TeaLAB, to counteract any deficits identified in your soil test.

S103 Native Soil Test
S3C looks for Organic Matter, N, P, K, Ca, Na, Mg, H, Sulfate-S, pH, Cation Exchange Capacity and percent cation saturation (computed), soluble salts, excessive Lime, Zn, Mn, Fe, Cu, and B.
S7 Nursery/Potting Soil Test
S7A tests Nitrate-Nitrogen, Ammonium Nitrogen, P, pH, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Electrical Conductivity, Sulfate-Sulfur, Zn, Mn, Fe, Cu, and B.
Tests will be performed at A&L Laboratories in Modesto, California.
