Five:Two (Humic Acid:Kelp Extract Blend)
Five:Two is a blend of Humic Acid and Kelp Extract based on a 10 year study that showed the combination of Humic Acid & Kelp at a 5:2 ratio proved 50% more root mass than either product used separately. Virginia Tech's research team showed that the 5:2 ration let to more root mass fruit mass. Kelp and Humic Acid are known biostimulants. Kelp contains plant beneficial compounds, and Humic Acid aids in their absorption.

Current research
Previous research has proven the benefits of microalgae and humic acid individually, and this study shows that together they create a blend that is shown to improve growth and yield of some crops.
In a study comparing liquid seaweed fertilizer, humic acid, and a combination of both, the combination blend most increased the shoot growth, carbohydrate content, total protein, and total chlorophyll content.
Seaweed and humic acid extracts are known biostimulants that can increase yield and quality of crops, like the durum wheat in this study.
